Covid 19 Policy

Please do not come for treatment if you think you may have any symptoms. Please refer to the Govt. guidelines for further info including quarantine: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

We adhere to the guidance the BAcC has produced to ensure that we comply with the current government guidance relating to practice.

There are three main criteria that we meet in order to be considered ‘COVID-19 Secure’:

  1. Carry out a COVID-19 risk assessment and share the results with the people who work at the practice.

  2. Have cleaning, hand washing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance.

  3. Do everything practical to manage transmission risk

All communal areas of the building are cleaned thoroughly, and high frequency contact areas are disinfected regularly throughout the day and between appointments. Other commonly touched objects and surfaces outside the treatment room (e.g. telephones, keyboards, door handles, desks and counter tops) are regularly cleaned.

Any furniture surface or piece of reusable equipment that has come into contact with a patient are cleaned and disinfected before and between patients as well as at the end of the treatment session.

Appointments are spaced accordingly so that there is sufficient time between patients for adequate cleaning and ventilation of the treatment room.

Frequent handwashing to reduce the potential for coronavirus to spread, plays a critical part of making and keeping our practice COVID-secure.
